The Educational Technology Center is located on the ground floor of McCain Library and is home to the Educational Technology group, which includes three full-time technology professionals and several part-time student aides.

The Mission of the ETC:

· to build awareness of how technology can enhance teaching and learning

· to provide faculty and students with the support and training they need to use technology effectively

· to foster collaborative educational technology initiatives across disciplines and assess the impact and effectiveness of those initiatives

· to conduct research and experiment with innovative educational technology tools
· to cultivate creative environments for teaching and learning

Located in G-43 the ETC’s Technoloy Production Center offers students, staff and faculty a chance to get help from trained staff and students in areas such as Powerpoint, Itunes, iMovie, Photoshop, Final Cut Express, and an array of other programs. We have 8 PCs and 5 Macs. This area also houses ASCtv’s studio and a sound/video editing suite.
